Haha, got back in the country yesterday to all sorts of goodies. BUT THEY SENT ME THE WRONG SPEAKERS! I got sent the S600A with the aluminum tweeter. Just called the seller and he is going to see about ordering a set of the silk tweeters for me and getting them to me.

And man are the crossovers big! I am not sure I will be able to fit them in the door pockets. We will see.

You can fit the xovers in. Remove the black boxes, and then angle the xovers to use the mounting points for the black boxes to mount the xover (does that makes sense? you won't be using the black boxes, just 2 of their mounting points on the door).

If you have serious trouble with having the silk tweeters sourced, you might look into SEAS Prestige textile dome tweeters (madisound.com). For about $70 you'll have a pair - and they're far better than the Diamonds.

 

Wow, so after calling Bill at Mobile Electronics Studios in South Dennis MA about the mix-up, he called, ordered the new silk tweets, and called me back in 10 MINUTES! I was so impressed I said I would pick up the cost of sending the aluminum tweets back. That kind of customer service is rare now. If anyone wants their number to see about prices on stuff, let me know and I will PM you. They are a seller on Amazon so they are definately legit.
