I've completed the first flat cover without fans for moyopoyo, and will be shipping it to him on Monday. Once I get feedback from him I will start to make these for people who want them.

Here is moyopoyo's before I covered it. I will add covered pictures tomorrow.

Nice job!
What holds it in place besides the trunk springs?

Two screws at the bottom mounted to L-brackets. I took this picture before I added the screws and brackets.

PAS2KNut,

I posted on one of your other threads about some possible substrates that may work as well or better for you, and are lighter. Not sure if you got that info, but here is a recap if you are interested.

I owned a sign shop a few years ago and became intimately familiar with PVC, Alumicor, Coroplast and a few others.

You can get this stuff at any sign supply house like RJ Signs and N. Glanz.

PVC comes in various thicknesses and is bendable with heat.

Alumicor is sheets of aluminum adhered to corrogated plastic. This stuff is very strong and light.

You can also get various colors of these materials. They are all easy to work with.

Anyway, it may be worth a check.

Good luck!
