Default Flip out or lcd screen in S2k

It looks like a flip out will not fit behind the radio cover, has anyone tried to put some in the visors? I had some in the visors of my celica once?
I got a good fiberglass guy but cutting into the dash just scares me a little bit,
im sure this has been covered but i searched and I must have not hit the right key workds b/c i didn't find anything, im new to the S2k so please dont flame too hard,
Ive just came from my last 3 cars with Nav etc and gottn used to having it,
I saw a swet install with the jdm bezel

jdm bezel nav

but i was worried about someone seing it and slicing the top and losing it about the time it went in, So if It could be hidden behind the radio cover i liked that alot better but just doesnt seem possible,
Any comments would be appreciated,
Thanks

Option for Nav:

Get a portable. (leave it portable or mold it into the a-piller or install it in the center console)
Get a nice screen molded into the dash. (pretty easy install really but can be expensive depending on the shop)
Remove rearview mirror and lights in top trim plate and mold a screen up there and get a back up camera(I've been told some states do not allow this... but I've never seen proof to this effect)

You bought a convertible... best you can do is get good insurance and make sure you tack on a little extra insurance for the extra stuff you have.
