Looks good!
Thanks!

Im a bit picky/ocd so since the install I have dyed the fabric of the box and trunk black so the two opposing hues of grey are gone.. LOL
i like your install. i would love to see a pic of this. i have been thinking of dying the trunk black myself just to do it.

I got some black fabric dye from a fabric place and gave it a shot. The dye soaked differently between the trunk carpet and the box carpet so its not perfect.. I think I might try out the black fabric spray paint. Sounds cheap i know but I want a more solid black look. After 3 coats of black dye, its in the middle. Ill snap some more pics and post them up today.

supposedly polyfill can help make the sound sound like a its in a larger enclosure but at the cost of some sonic dynamic that i don't understand.

Yeah, that is true! i think the slight increase in cone area, range and power running to the sub will be enough. i'm starting to get concerned about how much money i'm putting in this car!

Having a lot of trouble finding sites that stock the 12 inch E series dual 4 ohm sub. most everyone has the 2 ohm version. 1800woofers let me purchase then gave me a refund a day later because they were "out of stock, sorry", man, not even a mention of when you could try to get them? maybe an alternative?

looked at wooferetc today, there amazon site claims they have the e12d4 in stock but they are $119, not the $109 (+free shipping) 1800woofers is doing.

Damn!

Danggggg thats rough luck... You should look into 2 SA-10's or something if you REALLY want that 12" size. Honestly, I surprise and impress everyone that sees my lil 8" Sundown and then hears it.. It sounds amazing, AND IM RUNNING IT AT 4 OHMS. Hahaha! Everyone runs these at 1 ohm but I dont have a 1 ohm stable amp. It's eating full wattage from my MRP-M1000 alpine right now.

Ive searched and im still not sure the correct ratio for this poly fill stuff. I say you just pick a smaller woofer that meets the limit space specs you have? I wish everyone on this site could hear my 8". I get asked what kind of 12" I have, I love my setup!

well i think its just something you have to test and tune with. i dont want to go with a smaller sub because i already have one and i wont have to spend the money for a new one heres a video i was watching where they were tuneing a box with poly.

i just called my local shop and from what they told me i dont think you could use enough poly to make up for the .08 cubic feet but it would come close. but all i can say is i dont really trust my local shops yet because i already got screwed over by one and the other one seems ok.
