No and it still sounds great. I just met a new friend who said he would hook me up with some. I might just do the doors and the trunk lid.

The port does look a bit small, but it is actually built to spec for 35hz. I couldnt be happier. You can easily hear it outside of the car with the top down.

Yes this sub is blowing up very quick here in NC as well. There was a local competition guy who had 10 of them in his suburban

After a month now, the SA-8 has broken in and it has acutally gotten a good bit louder. It acutally is very audible with the top down now, and just plan rattles the rear view mirror out of position with the top up

i've been meaning to post in here for a while

so i got my e12d4 wired it in series, got the 2 ohm load on my alpine mrp500 amp

sounds incredible! i can't believe how big of a difference this thing makes. i go the rear tray out and the spare tire cover for maximum air flow but those will go back in eventually with sound deadening. i can easily hear the sub with the top down easily. on the first night i was jamming so hard i blew one of the door speakers, no bid deal, picked up some kicker coaxial, sound great.

now planning on putting sun down subs on my parents new yacht. gonna be f@#king rad.

i'll post up some pics once i get back to my car of the sub, enclosure and amp rack. i highly recommend the zen enclosures. even though this box is a little small for the sealed 12 is still sounds excellent. i recently added some poly fill, roughly a pound to the sides, sounds a tad fuller and louder. really wish i had one of those crazy tuning computers.

Awesome! Im glad you are now a fan of Sundown as well. Some audio on the boat will be sweet too! Glad everything turned out to your liking. I just recently hooked up a 2 channel for my pioneer components. Ran 14 gauge wire straight to the speakers and nice radioshack RCA's. HOLY SHIT its loud and crisp. Couldnt be happier
