Default Focal 165 K2 Owner's I have some questions?

I would like to know what amp you are using and how many watts you are driving through the speakers. I'm looking at these speakers and I just bought a new JL 500/5 and I want to make sure 100 watts is enough to drive these speakers.
Thanks in advance for your information.

I have the K2s also. I am using an MTX amp bridged to provide about 160 watts rms to each of the front channels. This is enough power to bottom out the drivers. Originally, I was using the MTX in a non-bridged mode and it was putting out about 70 watts to the fronts and it was ok but not quite enough power. Your
100 watts should be just about right.

Not exactly the same I know but I have Focal's 165W's run by a JL 500/5. Previously I ran them from a Soundstream Class A amp and was pretty underwhelmed, adding the JL's 100W RMS really brought them to life Honestly, I can't imagine them getting to sound any better and there is plenty of juice on tap to hear the stereo at 120+ top down (on track officer )
