Focal 165K2 X-overs
I just installed these yesterday and they sound absolutely amazing. The only thing is that it is still a little bright and I wanted to know if these x-overs are adjustable. Any help would be appreciated.
According to Focals web site it has an adjustable tweeter. If the crossover design is like my Utopias there is a switch inside the crossover. Just set it to the different settings and see which one you like.
i'm pretty sure that for the s2k's mounting arrangement, they suggest the middle setting, just pop off the xover cover and you'll see a 3 position switch.
i have mine in the middle, with a slight treble eq adjustment to make them a little less bright

There has been a lot of people who had this "problem" with the focals - Both the Utopias and Ploykevs. You can do a search for more info, here is one thread:

Thanks for the help. I will go ahead and make that change to the x-overs.
I've heard a lot about nothaving enough power. I currently have a PPI 4x50 amp that I'm using for the fronts but it isn't bridged yet (having difficulty with it...seeking PPI technical help). Is this enough?

Mas,
These were the only specs that I found from PPI. It's for the 440 (my 450 is a little older and they've since discontinued it). I would imagine that the specs and bridging characteristics would be the same. I'm not too familiar with this audio stuff so I'm not sure if the bridging will end up being enough.
If you help shed some light on this for me, it'd be great. I don't really want to shell out more $$ for a new amp, but will consider it if it's not making my focals perform to it's abilities. Thanks.

It's really tough to suggest anything from the specs you posted. What's up with PPI? They should be able to help you. I would suggest calling (visiting is better) the local stereo shop that sells PPIs.
There are many possible configurarions with a 4-ch amp depending on how they designed it.
The safest bet would be to use the front channels for the tweeters and the rears for the woofers. In the focal manual they mention something about cutting something on the crossover or something like that, make sure to read that. Actually, with this setup you'd get much more flexibility :-)
You should be able to bridge them as well, but just make sure to check with PPI or a shop before you do so.

Thanks Mas. I'm gonna take it to a PPI dealer hopefully this afternoon and see if they can offer any help. The customer service at PPI has too long of a wait on the phone, and the email obviously doesn't help.
