Focal?yes or no
I went to my friend's shop to check out some speakers, my friend recommended me with Focal Utopia line which are 180 W and 165 W3. My friend said a lot good things about it, but after I kind of listened to it in one of his show car (it had a 180w), it didn't impress me that much and not to mention the price tag was a little high for speakers. Maybe Im a newbie to speakers, so i couldn't tell any difference except it has a really good bass and sound was very clear and loud
Do you think they are worth of the money compare it to other brands? (pioneer,sony,kenwood....)
so yes or no?

I have the Focal Utopia speakers and love them. I like real clear and crisp sound. I want to hear all the highs and lows.
Best advice: is pick the ones that you like the sound.
I think PAS2KNut said it best, pick what you like after listening to a bunch of different speakers. I have a set of older Boston Acoustics in mine right now for fronts with Polks in the rear. I like the Bostons so much that I just ordered a set of Boston FS60 componants for the front and RX57 coaxials for the rear. If you have a chance listen to them too, you may like em. If you like em, I will be selling my used 6.5" Bostons soon, I think they are RX67, but I am not sure right now till I pull them out. Whatever you do, good luck!
it also sounds like you were turned off by the price of the utopias then the sound, try to listen to the polykevlars which is the next line down and about half the price of the utopias. they're really good speakers, i have a pair and think they're better then most speakers out there--but that's purely me. if you listen to focals and then listen to $100 kenwoods and can't hear a difference then get the kenwoods and save yourself the bux.
