PAS2KNut,
Nice-looking mounts. How did you make them? Did you use the factory basket as a stencil? Is there anything between the mounts and the door, i.e., some kind of foam seal?
thanks,
gil

PAS2KNut,
Also, how are you (if you are) protecting the rear of the woofer from water and stuff? Did you remove the rubber magnet cover to allow for more space between the magnet and the window stopper? My 165K2s have been kind of an ordeal.
thanks,
gil

This will happen when you use the stock tweeter location. Many other poeple with Focals (polykevlar and utopia) have complained about this in the past. You can do one of the following:
1- Put a series resistor between the crossover's +ve and the tweeter. Use the ceramic (spell?) big resistors like the ones in the crossover. Better yet, use two proper resistors to build an L-PAD. If you want more info on this, let me know. Electronics people don't usually like the first idea, but is works ok.
2- Install the tweeters somewhere closer to the speakers.
3- Make sure the woofers are sealed properly, otherwise they don't sound too lound and the tweeters sound relatively louder.
4- Make sure the speakers are powered by a good amp, otherwise they might sound like crap. If you don't have an amp, you can still manage to get decent sound by doing #1, #2 and #3.
Till you fix this problem, you won't really appreciate the true sound of these speakers.
