Found a focal component set in my "new" S
My 1st post here! You guys seem great and Ive already buddied up with my neighbor 9Ktach on this board and planning on a drive this weekend.
Anyhow, I just bought my 2000 S last week and am installing an Alpine head unit when I noticed yellow through the speaker panels. My last car had focals and I thought no... they cant be since they pop at any level thats audible. Well I took them off and they were indeed. Someone did a really nice job rounding the spacers and sealing everything. I put 19watts RMS on them with the new HU and they sounded great but one main isn't working. Is this from running at such low power for so long on the OEM HU? The other sounds great along with both tweeters but even when I put a live wire on it I can't get a sound. Can this be fixed or does anyone have an extra single focal 165K? Thanks Guys
