Default Garmin GPS Mounting Options

I recently got a Garmin Streetpilot (2620) and I'm wondering if anyone has any good mounting recommendations:

(1) The beanbag works O.K. ... if you drive like a zombie (it works great in my fat, slow Audi). The first hard acceleration in my S sent this thing shooting right back at my face. Luckily I caught it in mid-air (my reflexes are hardly cat-like so I'm not going to count on always being able to do so)!
(2) Garmin includes a "Permanent Adhesive Mounting Disk". I'm reluctant to stick this on my dash since I don't like the sound of "Permanent". Does anyone know if this can be removed down the road without damaging whatever you stick it to?
(3) Any clever mounting brackets for sale out there? Maybe something like we used to use when cell-phones hung on permanently mounted brackets bolted to the floor/central tunnel back in the early '90s?

After a couple of weeks of using this thing I'm pretty impressed (it's very close to being as good as the Acura unit in my wife's MDX), so I'd love to come up with a good solution for mounting it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

How about a Panavise and a ram mount?

PM Airgate. He sells Panavise mounts or look at a RAM mount solution. I've got a Street Pilot III and an going to attach it to my Panavise once I get a new MP3 player.
