Has anyone mounted the Garmin Nuvi 2797LMT using the Modifry Dash Bracket? I viewed an unboxing video on YouTube, and the power cord has a rather beefy plastic box attached about 6 inches from the power plug that attaches to the GPS. My concern is if I mount the unit with the power wire running behind the Dash Bracket and into the dash to conceal it, there won't be enough room for the plastic box. So...has anyone done this install recently?

I am not sure if they have changed the cord since I installed mine a few years ago. I have mine run behind the dash. I cut a small notch near the vents. The cord from the "box" to the end is the perfect length to reach. I turned my nav unit as you can see in the image below.
