Just bought one from a member.. thinkin where to install the little bugger. anyone put it in the ashtray?

 

I had mine to the right of the dash near the drivers window.

 

On the right hand side of the dashboard with all the wiring tucked neatly away. Laser thingy behind the rear view mirror with all the wires tucked away.

Quite neat actually

 

how did you chaps secure the cradle to the dash?

sticky back plastic.. or err.. something else?

When new you get a piece of double sided tape type stuff for the cradle and the gps receiver. Have yet to see what mess it makes when removed but something along those lines should work.

Mine has melted a bit in the recent heat but seems to firm up again when cool.

 

I had the b2 Solo and stuck the cradle to the top of the dash with the provided 3M velcro stuff and ran the power cable round the side of the dash to the fuse box.
