not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but i think gauges are more relevant to electronics than interiors so here is my question:

are there any quality or custom gauge pod ideas to mount 1-3 gauges somewhere other than the A pillar or steering column?

post some pics or links or something...

Lots of the japanese race teams mount gauges on the A/C vents.

^i love that, that is definitely something i'd buy if you ever plan to make more of them.

i like the idea of putting gauges behind the radio cover but i'd want an actual bezel, not a flip up cover like ricks. i want to be able to use either stack or defi 52mm or 60mm gauges.

Love the three pod on the side but i would really like something like maybe just two for the other side...Where did you get the picture? Why don't you PM him and ask, if you cant find 'em keep me interested please.


rennSTi: Hey as you said you dont like the A Pillar so heres an option. But first of all do they have to all be together? What i did is cut out 58MM spot in my radio cover door an Innovative Gauge there and works real nice, im sure you can do this for 2 at least but i think 3 might be too much. And the Ricks is WAY to expensive. Now if you have a separate head unit the Audio Control Knob doe not work any more, i had that cut out so i can place a gauge there as well, and boom there you go, you got yourself three. This is coming from a guy who likes to keep his things discrete, unlike the link above me where someone can see you have them while they're driving behind you. Another idea, which i cant really do because i live in florida is you can replace the AC Vent on the drivers side with a gauge as well. Hope this helps.
By the way what kind of gauges are you looking to install?
