Boooooooyaaaaa...

Ok, everything you picked out is total crap. Alpine is crap. Focal is made from crap that alpine throws away, and Phoenix gold is made of titanium crap. So pretty much I suggest you get a head unit from a 1974 oldsmobile delta 88, brougham edition though.....amplifiers....the stock ones from an RSX,TL, CL, or RL. They are great bose amps and put out about 100,000 watts RMS and can fit in your center console.

I had to do it......I had a boring day.

All kidding aside, your gear sounds great. I approve everything....the only thing I wouldnt do, if it were MY car (and thats how I give advice) is amp the SPODS and keep the internal amp off for even better sound quality. So.....

You need 4 channels for the Focals, and 2 for the sub. The 600.2 for the sub is gravy......However, I would try to get something else for the Focals thats 4 channels.

So I would recommend that you take a look at the Phoenix Gold Titanium 900.7 Its available for $849 from online car stereo, which is actually cheaper than a 400.2 and a 600.2

Ill try to find a better deal for you, since you are pretty set on the Phoenix Gold's.

The site for excellent and inexpensive wiring is www.knukonceptz.com Great amp kits (recommend highly)

OR.........

I notice, with all this equipment, you are looking for blingage, as well as performance.....I dont think you bought the amps yet, so I have a few days, I can suggest so SERIOUS bling, and quality for your system.....get a 600.2 for your sub, and hide it somewhere in the spare tire area, on a tray available from PAs2kNUT (Jim, great guy). And stick this in your trunk!

This is a great amp, unfortunately Ive only had the pleasure of working with it once, but man, what an amp. Ill try to find a deal for you.

All in all, your current setup is nice, but needs a little polishing, but youll be set up nicely. Also, are you doing your own work???? Good luck bro

CAN WE ALL HAVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE.......Soundstream has discontinued one of the best amplifiers ever made, the DaVinci. You will be missed my gold friend. Im gonna look around and see if I can still score one for myself.

I just recently bought the SoundStream Van Gogh 500.4 to power my Focal Utopia 165W and Focal Polykevlar 136K. This amp is just amazing. The sound quality generated by this amp is the best I've owned and I've owned Xtant and JL just to name a few. My 136K's are in a set of S-Pods. I had to do some modification but was able to get them to fit. I'm still working on tuning my system to get the Focals to sound great, and I have an Elemental Designs e8A.44 sub on back order.

Your system sounds like it will deliver a high level of sound quality.

I also fixed your tread title for you.

All you need is one of these for your amps.

Yea you can def go the van gogh route.....an 800.2 and a 500.4 would set you up real nice. Slightly more flexible than a Phoenix Gold option.

If you stick amps in the spare tire area, you can put the cover back on with no problems, there is plenty of air back there.

The tray measures 23" x 16" and is made out of 3/4" MDF. Yes the cover go's back on like stock, and there are no issues with airflow.

If I were to go with Alpine with the V-Drive amp, but chose not to use said amp, I don't need to wire it back to the power block or battery right? The wires from the unit itself (either the CDA-9833 or 9831) plugged into the harness via the Lucid control will work fine?
