Default Gps Question in cup holder

I just started working on the gps system(garmin streetpilot c320 system) in the cup holder but have a small problem. How do you get the cup holder to work with the gps system in place. Do you have to cut up the cup holder and just leave the cover part. If so, how does it screw on then to the console and supplied power to the gps. I want to be able to use the cover for cup holder (to prevent possible theft)

Thanks for any help..

I saw that thread, but it doesnt describe in detail what he did with the cup holder. I even tried emailing energetic but it seems like his email address was getting rejected. Do you need to cut the cup holder up and just leave the cup holder cover. How do you screw the cup holder cover to the console once the cup holder is cut.

Just ask Energetic. Just send him a PM. He's on all the time, but the times may be a bit odd as I think he lives in Athens, Greece.

Sorry, man. It kind of looked like to me like he removed the internal part of the cup holder. I'm not really familiar with how the AP1 cupholder is constructed so I can't be of much help.
