Wow very impressive, I can't wait to see the finished project and hear your thoughts on that new Boston amp!

Nice engineering on your fence. Can you host a GB I need one to keep my dogs out from under the tree.

well, i was very impressed with the Boston amp (GT-40) when i demo'ed it. while there is no solid evidence on whether or not it's made (or designed) by Audison, the designs are very similar (even to the layout of connections and controls), it is from an Italian amp maker, and it's a great sounding amp. also, for $270, it wasn't a bad deal either.

well stuff still to come are an
Alphasonik PMA300HCA for bass
150 Watts x 2 @ 4 ohms Stereo
270 Watts x 2 @ 2 ohms Stereo
450 Watts x 2 @ 1 ohms Stereo
900 Watts x 1 @ 1 ohms Mono

going to give Alphasonik a whirl since it's gotten so much praise here, and i'm planning to run it mono at a 4 ohm load. (expecting around 3xx-4xx Wrms based on their published numbers, probably a bit less than claimed tho.)
still - i'm 99.9% sure that Alphasonik and Audiobahn are the same company (and not just owned by the same company), based on a slew of commonalities from amp specs, to product lineups, to common addresses, including the fact that both of their sites are hosted on the same server... , so we'll see...
if i didn't know better, i'd think Dave worked for the Anaba family...

coaxial rears are on back order ... probably Boston NX67 to match the tonality of the fronts. the Boston SL60 components were quite impressive and good for the budget. they're a relatively new series, and it was a close race between them and the Focal Access.
as soon as the Christmas weekend is past, i'll be hitting up KnuKonceptz for wiring, etc.
i'm already working on an enclosure design (still debating on where to compromise between function and form)
and the leather interior should be showing up early to mid next week...

and the fence -- actually, bought it at BabiesRUs here in town... naturally, i cut a deal as i bought a few extensions too, and brought the twins for the cute factor.... (you'd be surprised the deals all those baby stores, suppliers, etc. cut for people who have multiples)
same thing you can find here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...s=baby&n=540992
and extensions here:

As far as I know...(which may not be very far at all).....Alphasonik isnt owned by Audiobahn or the other way around. Alphasonik is much older than Audiobahn, and their policies are different. However, I dont know what happened in the last couple of years. If they do indeed own each other, I think audiobahn would be the Honda, and ALphasonik would be an Acura. Same parts, just better service and etc. Ill call them up and see what they say.
