Default Hardwire Acc. Direct to Factory Stereo?

I thought I'd try posting this here, as there are definitely a lot more electronics gurus here than other forums....

Anyways. I installed the Harmon KardonDrive+Play on my 92 Lexus LS400.

I did a pretty flush install etc... except for the power, The cigarette lighter plug was actually falling out of the socket, and while being lazy, I didn't want to search for a power supply, so I took the adapter out of the holder, shoved the wires back behind the stereo and just plugged the cig adapter from the HK system into it.

Everything looks flush etc....

The problem is I'm now left with no accessory outlet, so I'm now thinking of either getting one of those accessory splitters, where you get 2-3 extra outlets, and then route them to the side. OR, just hard wiring the HK system. Problem is I don't know what to hardwire it to.

I was thinking that maybe I use the factory harness, and tap into the power going into the factory deck. Keep in mind I am not using an aftermarket head unit and the power consumption is probably relatively low. I do not know if that would still be drawing way to much power from that wire, or if it'd be ok.

Any possible solution would be great. Also I'm not sure if its because of the adapter, but the power seems to cut in and out to my system sporadically, I'm thinking maybe the plug is not in secuirely so I may have to check on that.

Regardless I'd like to hardwire the system, but just not sure how to approach it.

Thanks
