Default Hardwire radar detector for MY08

Anyone know of another place I can ground my hardwired radar detector? My TPMS module is in the way.

I'm not a complete newb - I hardwired my radar detector in my AP1 and it was a piece of cake. I went to try to hardwire it into my CR and found a big black box in front of the grounding bolt. Found out it was for tire pressure monitor. I may just try to work around it, but if there is another bolt that someone know of where I can ground, I would appreciate it.

Thanks. Can't find any other free screw down there...I may just have to try electrical taping it to the car as a temporary solution for my drive from Chicago to Atlanta.

Just tap into any of the wires that are coming off of the ground bolt

Yeah, what he said, use any screws to metal. I have a '08 and have a V1 hardwire and 2nd aux. both require a ground. I don't have pics. to help you.

Hmmm, I'm going to have to look for that black TPMS that you mentioned. I didn't know it was down there.
