Default Escort Solo 2 Radar Detector?

It's between the Escort Solo 2 and the Valentine....I like the arrows & trust the name of the latter, but the Escort is cordless and can easily be stored out of view in a second. . . .

Someone convince me to pick one over the other!

Also, when the V1 is hardwired how easy/difficult is it to remove to prevent theft?

Thanks

The V1 has one RJ11 (phone cable) connection on the side of the unit. To remove and stash out of site would not take any longer with the V1. I haven't seen any tests with the solo2, but most cordless detectors sacrifice detection range for the convenience of no wires... Just a thought.

I have a V1 hardwired and love it!

I also have heard some complaints about performance when running RADAR off of batteries.
