Has anyone installed rear speakers and NOT liked the results?

How much are the rear speaker panels Lucid? and roughly how much would a shop charge to connect the rear speakers to the head unit (i am going to get a new head unit and will be paying for that install anyway)?

Hi Lucid,

Any idea when you may update your site with the new bundles?

Cheers

Mark.

PS do you know of any way to retrofit 2002 tweeter enclosures to a 2001 model, and if so where the best place to get them from would be?

I have not done anything to the stock system in my S2000 as of now. However i have a very nice system in some other cars i own..... Now the one major qualm i have with the S2000 system is that being a rather larger person when my left foot is resting, IE highway with the top down, my knee is on the speaker, when i'm at a red light with a Mustang GT and a good lookin woman who think's she can drive it my foot is never on that speaker and it sounds descent enough, even if i were to replace that stock speaker wouldn't my leg still muffle it?? just a thouht

I have a Sony head unit running through a small amp to splits (tweeters on dash). Major improvement over stock.

I recently added some 4" coax in the rear. They run directly off the head unit and are turned down quite low. They add a feeling of immersion as opposed to feeling like you are sitting in front of your stereo.

Used Lucid configuration for starting point. I have 10 speaker configuration.

2 dome tweeters replaced in stock tweeter location.
2 6 1/2 component replaced in door.
2 dome tweeters mounted in front of door lever facing back
2 OEM door speakers in rear panel attached to crossover (high pass set to 200 hz and above, with
2 dome tweeters in each headrest
All powered by 50x4 amp mounted over gas tank area.

1 sub (10" sealed box) with crossover set to about 200hz and below in trunk with separate amp.
