XBox will be offering an add-on to enable HD-DVD capabilities later. PS3 will utilize Blu-ray.

blue ray and HD-dvd are completely different formats and are not compatible. currently there are no true HD-dvd players. the toshiba player doesnt even output 1080p so why waste $500 now when theres barely any movies out.
