Nah, its its got a wire, its welcome here.

I think MonsterCables are a waste. They do not provide any more quality in picture unless you're running long distances. And even then monster cables would cost thousands of dollars more. I know many people agree and can't tell the difference. Visit monoprice.com They have good quality cables at very cheap prices. I've always been happy with their cables and service. If you don't like it you can always return it with no hassles for the full amount. The money you save compared to monster cables, you could be buying parts for the S!
I agree with viper7169. With most cable boxes, even in HD, you probably won't notice much of a difference in component cables. My TV has CableCard and 2 HDMI inputs. I use the CableCard for digital cable, 1 HDMI for the upconverting DVD player and the other HDMI for the computer (DVI->HDMI). Then I have a modded xbox connected with component cables. Believe it or not, movies streaming from the PC through the xbox look clearer than through my Sony HDMI player. The perk of that cable is video + audio in one cable. So don't worry about cables right now too much. Component should suit you fine.
