PJK3,

You are absolutely right. I didn't realize they would be so cheap.
PokS2K told me about both Majestic Honda and HardtopGuy. I have decided to cut my exsisting panels and if I screw it up or decide to remove the rears I will just buy new ones since they are so inexpensive. I am looking very forward to getting this thing installed. It will be nice to have rear speakers again.

... that you DID use the Lucid / Modifry Sony DCI with the M850MP headunit in your install. You had a whole paragraph about it. Are you saying that it doesn't work after all? I am interested in this headunit, so I'm very curious about whether the DCI works or not. Thanks.

I got the head unit for 364.83 with shipping from HypAudio.com

Now onto my next question. Since I have decided on putting in the rear speakers what should I worry about as far as fit goes?

I was looking at these speakers:

Would they fit? Also can I put 6.5 in the rear or is that just too big? Thanks again everyone.

i don't have rear speakers -- but i believe the key dimensions are magnet diameter and mounting depth. i don't know that there are many 6.5 options that will fit...

hopefully, the rear speaker gurus will come out of the wall now... cause i'm not one of them...
