Can someone recommend a good unit that has a nice touch screen and will play DVD and work as NAV unit? Also...how hard would it be to make one of these units show gauge data, ie. engine/oil temp., rpm, NOS levels, etc. (I would like passenger/copilot to be able to monitor these items without adding a gauge pod or having to lean over to the drivers side)!!!

 

You will not be able to get a flip up screen to work because of the dash overhang. However, you may use my solution:

Pioneer DVH-P7000 (dvd headunit- no screen)
Pioneer AVIC-90DVD (dvd navigation controller, hidden under seat)
Pioneer W6210 (touchscreen LCD, mounted in dash cutout)

Engine gauge stuff, I am not sure how easy that would be.. I'm sure one of the electronics guys might be able to better answer your question.
