Headlights?
The steps don't exactly line up. The left and right beams are pointed a little bit apart causing a dim section in the middle. The steps are aproximately 1' apart.
My S is exactly the same way. I would prefer the beams to be aimed closer together, but they are NOT adjustable. I think you can remove the front bumper and install shims to adjust the beams left and right.
It seems like a lot of work, but I do a lot of high speed night driving in the country and I think it would be a benefit to move the beams a little bit closer together as they currently shine 50-100' off to each side of my car.
One benefit of having the beams illuminate so far off to the side is, I can spot the highway patrol easier, but I would prefer to move the beams inward a bit.

Umm... ok, if you read my post, I never said that the beams will always lineup. I simply stated that I would like to move the beams a little bit closer together.
The majority of all the miles on my S have been in the mountains. I think I should know how I want my lights adjusted regardless of how they came from the factory.
I'm not Einstein, and I don't want to get into the messy geometry and trigonometries, but.... sorry, I don't need you to tell me how wrong I am and tell me how to adjust MY headlights.

Racer,
If you can't see so good towards the center of the car, get some foglamps. PIAA makes some great ones that will enhance how your car looks and how well you can see.
I read all kinds of crying about how the headlights suck, and how they are not aligned, etc, etc. But I have found them to be some of the best headlights I have ever owned & aligned perfectly. They are distinctive and you can see just about everything on a flat open road. I can totally understand how they could be annoying to other drivers on a mountain road however, and the sharp cut off line from top to bottom may pose a problem to some. But in Florida, it is no problem.
I wanted to get fog lamps, I really did, but after driving the car regularly, I cannot justify the cost given my circumstances. If I live in California wine country, I might need 'em though. But as far as I can tell, Honda got them right.
