I have a Pioneer Headunit on the car. It came with an Adapter for a Honda Accord but it also did fit my S2000. All I had to do was to plug the headunit to the adapter to the car.

I am considering another headunit now. If I get another brand and keep the adapter that came with my Pioneer, am I going to be able to use it with the new one that I am gonna get?

The ones that I want to get are:

SONY CDX-GT500
PIONEER DEH-P9400

I will buy these used. Not so into the Car Audio stuff and not planning to spend too much on it. I know they are not expensive ones but I just want to get something that plays MP3. Any feedback on these are greatly appreciated.

i know JVC share harness with sony, but the left and right is reversed on their harness.

not really sure pioneer shares harness with anyone tho
