Default Help!

Today I was installing led kick plate light in my S. It required me wiring then into the fuse box so I used a tap so that they would work with my interior lights. It also requires me to ground it, so I undo the bolt, hook the O-ring around it and reinstall. Now none of the following work my radio, interior lights, power, dash light, truck release. If anyone could please help me solve the problem, thank you in advance!

Also I checked all the fuses and none are blown.

A few of thoughts:
  • I don't believe all those things share a common ground, so that's probably not it
  • I don't believe they all share a common fuse in the under-dash fuse box
  • I think all of those fuses are fed by fuse #54 (30 amp) in the under-hood fuse box,
but so are other things that you didn't mention as not working
  • I don't know if all of those things are switched off by the starter-cut relay, though
if they are, that relay may be sticking, in which case the work you were doing was just
    coincidence
I'd start by checking #54, though unless you tapped into a wire before the fuse box, I
can't imagine how you blew a 30 amp fuse in the main underhood box.
If it is the starter-cut relay (under-dash fusebox), it may unstick if you whack it lightly.

Thanks, I just blew 54 under the hood. Never thought to check there!
