help with alpine stereo install

Default help with alpine stereo install

here is what i would like to put in an MY01:

alpine cde-143bt head unit
alpine ktp-445u power pack (U version so that i can run bridged mode to power polk db651s which i have already installed)
modifry dci alpine version plus wiring harness

i am electronics illiterate but i would think this is easy enough to tackle DIY? is there a s2000 specific guide for this? am i going to have to splice anything? looking for most noob friendly. what are some other materials/tools i will need? amazon links would be much appreciated.

i know running a dedicated power line to battery will sound better but i have no interest dealing with putting things through the firewall so will have to stick with powering off radio, besides that should be plug n play right?

Pretty straight forward. Solder connected wires and use heat shrink insulation. I use a purpose made hand-held air heater to shrink the insulation and not a lighter. Anyhow, Might Car Mods had a pretty good generic install (though, not an Alpine into an S2000).
