Default Help with Eclipse -> Sirius -> Aux

Hey guys,

Im trying to run aux input through my sirius receiver to plug in an ipod. But as soon as I plug something into the Aux input on the sirius receiver, i get static through sirius channels, and the ipod only plays through the right side with lots of static as well.

Heres my setup:
Eclipse CD3000

Sirius ECL1 - plugged into the AUX input on the head unit
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-VZPBcdimQz5/A...cl1&search=ecl1

AUX RCA cables - plugged into Sirius ECL1

IPOD RCA cables

The reason im doing all this instead of just using the Eclipse ipod adapter is cuz I've heard bad reviews about the adapter. I also want to control the ipod thru the ipod itself instead of the receiver.

Any tips would be great!

Do you still get static without the ipod rca plugged in the aux cable? Some Eclipse units do not interface well with aux cables. Eclipse has there own Aux-105 which only works with a handful of units.

Actually I've noticed that satellite radio has been getting more static from the right side lately.

Plugging in the aux cable into the sirius unit is also causing a lot more static when I'm in satellite mode.
