I think the radio was on, I didn't take it direct from the battery either though.

But any of my cars, I never got 12volts when checking voltage always lower Of course I've never run DIRECT off the battery, I'm usually grabbing power from something like the radio connection etc, where there might be some interference I suppose. I'll do a DIRECT battery check tonight.

 

12.9V maybe I didn't have good ground when I measured last time.
