Help me understand ohm load -> amps - speakers
If I have a 4 channel, tri mode capable amp and I want to run 4 speakers and 2 subs:
I'd take 2 channels and run the left front and left rear speaker, plus one subwoofer.
Then take the other 2 channels and run the right front door and right rear, plus number 2 sub. If I'm sending 25wX4 channels originally, what am I sending in trimode with that setup? Do I want 4 ohm speakers and subs?
Just do this
if I'm not making any sense.

Your post was a little difficult to understand but this is what I think you want to do:
Run front and rear speakers and 2 subs.
You can do it several ways, easiest is with a 5 channel amp. 4 channels, one each to the front and rear speakers, the other channel to 2 subs. Get 2 4 ohm DVC subs, wire each of the sub's VCs in series, wire both subs in parallel (will give a 4 ohm load).
If you already own the 4 channel (tri mode) amp, you can do this:
1 - check if the amp is 2 ohm stable. If it is wire the front and rear speakers (assuming 4 ohm) in parallel (will give a 2ohm load) and connect to 2 channels on the amp.
2 - get 2 DVC subs and do the same as the first scenario.
If the amp is not 2 ohm capable:
1 - get 8 ohm speakers for the front and rear, wire in parallel (will give you 4 ohm load), connect to 2 channels of the amp.
2 - get 2 DVC subs and do the same as the first scenario.
Hope this helps...if not just post again!
