So I installed my aem v2 intake and disconnected the battery like the instructions said. Now the alarm will not stop going off. Even when I press the unlock button on the keyfob it continues. I

If I press the unlock button, the doors will unlock, but that sets the alarm off. I can start the car, but the alarm continues anyway.

Somebody please help me before my neighbors crucify my car.

 

So I figured out that I need to not only press the button under the dash, but hold it down while the ignition was on.
