Help with radio install?

illumination, and dimmer wires... seems the pioneer doesn't have any but te metra has both. also do I tie in both the grounds then connect to chassis?

My Alpine was the same way, the harness provides a few wires that some decks dont utilize. I think I pulled those wires out of mine because they were unused.
I dont remember there being two grounds, but its been a while since I have been in there. Sorry I couldnt be more help

ok so i have everything connected, i just left the oranges out, theres a black wire from the metra and a black wire from the pioneer harness. also i have both the blue wires out for the remote and power antenna. do i wrap both the black wires together then connect to metal?

as far as repositioning the ipod cable, the input would have to on the back side of the headunit. I bought the pioneer deh-x5500hd, and the usb is in the front

hey man im having the same issue with my pioneer head unit. i did exactly what you did with the blue and orange wires but it still wont come on. i have the two black wires connected together though. im thinking that could be the reason the HU isn't responding. how do you have them arranged? thanks in advance
