Here's a strange issue. Honda has record of it and I'm trying to get it fixed but long story short since it was only documented with the previous owner I'm having a hard time. This is the scenario.

Radio on.

Adjust side view mirrors, radio shuts off.

Pop trunk, radio shuts off.

No power to power port under any conditions.

Thoughts?

 

Apparently even though the issue was documented, Honda won't take care of it once the warranty expires.

Aggravated but there is nothing I can do short of fixing it myself. Any ideas on what may be causing the issue is welcome.

 

Is the car running or on aux when this happens?

Possibly the acc relay, check this post. Doesnt hurt to swap it out and test it.

Looks like that just may be the culprit! They are describing the problem to a T. At least with the radio. I'll get a new relay and see what happens. Thanks so much!!!
