I am picking up Gui's "Pinky Mod" and had intended to use it on a Pioneer PEH 7200 as he had. Guess I waited too long and the PEH7200 could not be found in my area. I was in the store tonight picking up an Escort SR-1 Radar detector when I happened upon the DEH-720 which replaced the PEH7200 in Pioneer's line. Any advice on the head unit install? Are the PEH-7200 and DEH-720 connectors and pin outs the same? Or do I need to reconfigure the mod........

Any help would be appreciated

DEH-7200 is Pioneer DEH-720 is Pioneer Premier. Same model/same harness/same everything!

Plug and Play. The 7200 was not replaced the 720 is just a different version. The new 730 just came out but I think the harness is the same.

 

Oops...the new one I got is the 730....guess I'll have to go study the schematics.

 

Harness should be the same! Just make sure that all the wire colors are the same and the plug is the same. If they are plug in and go!

 

All installs completed today......outstanding if I do say so myself. Thanks Pinky for all your help and Gui3 for the Pink's Mod. The new head unit (actually a PEH-730) is awesome. Your mod works flawlessly Pinky and was easy to install after I figured out the connector conversion
