HID Bulb Upgrade

im just installed my 8000k bulbs and unless youre old as dirt with horrible vision you can still see very easilly at night.

oh and also theres no need to upgrade the ballasts. Bulbs only. The balasts are only concerned with voltage, which is constant no matter what temperature rating bulb you use.

there is no "upgrade" to our bulbs, the only thing your gonna be able to do is get more color and LESS output. 8000k will be pretty blue and you wont be able to see as MUCH as the oem 4300k

I have 8000k on my M3 and 6000k on my s2000 and light output is just fine with both cars

Yup, they are. Until you put the meter up to the light and you get a shitty reading of lumens.

It's fine you guys like your low quality riced out capsules, no one is debating that. But the fact remains that output is greatly reduced whether you see it or not and it is NOT an upgrade when you go up in the Kelvin scale. No sense in beating a dead horse.

I have 10000k on mine 05' silvastone, love it. Very bright whitish blue too.

HID's are designed to reproduce the color of sunlight. You change the color and you defeat the whole purpose.. Why not just throw those purple HID's like the guys with the 30 inch wheels on the caprice's =/.
