Default High Beams stuck on

My high beams are stuck on, this has never happened before, I put them on a country road then all of a sudden they wouldnt come off. has anyone else had this problem? could it be wiring problem? or a bad switch?

It' could be a bad switch or possibly the high beam relay is stuck open.

Is the hi beam dash light on? Are both hi beams stuck on? If both are, then its probably the switch (should have dash light then). If its the Left hi beam only, its probably Headlight relay 2 (or very unlikely the switch and fuse 43 (20a) is burnt up). If its the right hi beam only, it looks like Headlight relay 1 could be bad.

Sorry to bring this back from the past, but this just happened to me last night... What switch are we talking about?

talking about the combination light switch that controls the turn signals and low/high beams?
