High output alternator?
Has anyone with larger amps had to upgrade their alternator? I am wondering since looking at the owners manuals for my amplifiers, it says I am looking at as much as 130 amps of current. Also, I was planning on 4 guage wire, but think I may be borderline needing 2 or 0 guage...any thoughts? Oh...Total wattage is only going to be 800 rms which is why I originally thought 4 guage would be fine. 100 each for components and 600 for a 10 inch sub. Oh, yeah my brother gave me a 1 farad Rockford cap new in the box that he didn't want or need, should I use it?
I'd appreciate any input, Thanks!

130 amps willd be enough to deaphen you, and blow out your windows. If your amps ran peak power...all the time, they would draw 130 amps. Nominally, youll be pulling about 30-50.
