Thumbs up home theatre cables in car audio setup

I'm thinking about using some Monster Interlink 250 home theater RCA cables instead of shelling out money to buy ones designate for car audio. Has anyone done this? Would there be any drawbacks?

I figured there shouldn't be a problem as long as they are twisted pair configuration and are "shielded."

My Monster Interlink 250s are 2-conductor, twisted pair construction with a 100% foil shield...whatever that means. EJJs please chime in! Thanks.

Why would you spend that much cash on RCA's? Don't get me wrong they will work just fine but there are products the will work just as well for less than half the cost.

RCAs are RCAs. I don't THINK there should be any difference between home theater ones or car ones, other than Monster's marketing spin..
