Default do not buy the panasonic fm modulated sirius units!!!

i just got home from work, and i just thought i would pass on my experiances with the panasonic sirius units. we have done about 6 of these in the past week and atleast 3 of them are having glitches and 2 dont work at all.
on the ones that dont work, they turn on and they show the preview channel but there is not audio. we are pretty sure there fm modulaters are going bad.

its always the last car of the day when you are working late to get some stuff done and the car gives you shit. grrrrrr

jimbo,

Good info for people trying to decide between units. Keep us updated on any other issues you come across.

The FM mod degrades the signal also.
I think some of the Xm/CD controllers have RCA inputs/outputs as well, so as long as your headunit has an extra input you can bypass the FM mod.
