Can anyone help me out with info on this security system for my 2002. My understanding is that you can't get it installed at factory but rather the dealer will perform installation. Has anyone attempted to install the system themselves or is it better left to the pros. Also, are you aware of a better aftermarket system.

There are many other alarms that will protect your S better, Clifford, CrimeStoppers and others. What you want that the Stock alarm does not have is a proximitry sensor. Also the pager feature is nice to have, since most people just don't care about the noise your car makes. But the pager will let you deal with the crooks.
