Default Honda's Ipod Adapter

Here's the link to honda's site for this iPOD adapter they have:

Any comments about this product? Good or bad? Is there long delays when sending commands to the iPOD?

I'd want to know who made it, how much are they and how can you avoid the dealer installation charge. Installation usually amounts to plugging it in the CD changer port on the back of the radio. I would think you could get it cheaper from the manufacturer.

You can't use the ipod for searching with that piece. I think using the stock radio for that will be a major disadvantage. Definitely a great price though, but they are out of stock and I doubt they get replenished before the sale ends on 9/28.

After taking my radio out, I found that I don't have any CD changer connections on the back of my head unit. How does one go about installing such ipod links?

I have no AUX input on the back of the radio. Above where the driver controls connect (on the back of the radio), there is a place for what seems to be a 14-pin connector, but it's empty. This is the OEM radio too. The front of the radio does show a CD/AUX button, but there is no AUX connection.
