I have a jvc kd-a815 radio.

I want to know how to reroute the mic to the position above my mph/rpm cluster in a discrete and pristine way.

Also has anyone rerouted an ipod cable discretely to the glove compartment or the little net next to the passenger seat?

 

There's a head unit install thread that provides details on this. It's what I used to run my cable to the secret compartment.

You don't need a guide for this. There's an opening that easily allows you to pass the cable from the back of the head unit to the net.
