The OEM unit will not play MP3 files. It must have music files.

With the '06 you can get Honda Music Link (for iPod

question?

will the cd play as a music cd?

or,

is it strictly storage media?

thanks.

Ken
MP3 cd's will not play in normal cd players. It's not a "music cd" but a data cd with mp3 files on it.

hmmm... ran into a problem I've got to work around. The disc I burned for my wife last night saved everything as .wma files. The Alpine deck I installed in her truck plays mp3's but not wma's.

I'm trying Realplayer tonight to see if it will give me the option as saving as mp3's. Damn Windows anyway!

I just checked the preferences in iTunes and it gives the MP3 option of converting along with other codec's. I personally prefer the AAC Encoder, but I know you can't make MP3 cd's with that.
