I just sold my OEM head unit on eBay and the buyer is asking how to enter the factory code, which was provided to him.

I assume once the unit is installed, that the first time you try to turn it on you'll get some sort of prompt on the display, and then you key in the numbers using the corresponding radio preset buttons, and once the last digit has been entered... behold.

Is this correct? Is there any different or additional information I should give the guy?

 

thats it. the code is entered with the radio buttons.
