I think my speakers are blown but it mite be the tweeters. how can i test them with a multimeter? Like what setting do I set it on to test on the speaker itself. I know I set it to ohms but there is a bunch of different ones. And what kind of reading should I get

you should get a 4 ohms. Anything way off would mean the speakers is blown. If your meter has many range settings then use your better judgement and see if you get 4ohms

 

Im getting right around 3.6 for the speakers directly but from the crossover im testing the tweeters because i havent pulled them out of the car they test around 2.6. Im not sure if its cuz Im testing from the crossover or they are blown.

they sound like shit... ive heard blow speakers before and they really sound like they were. Im gonna pull the tweeters this week and test them


They are CDT audio components. And I have a Rockford amp powering them.
