I came across this a short while ago, and it IS truly amazing. I would love to get my hands on one for a day or two and play with it. I can think of some really cool functional additions for it, as well. At $800 for the basic kit, it's definitely at the high end of the spectrum, though...it's a reasonable price for what you get and all that's involved, but you could say the same about Ferrari or Lamborghini. You get what you pay for, but many just don't have the interest in throwing that kind of money at a lighting product.

If memory serves, it's like 500 British pounds, which translates to roughly $800 (at least that's the price I've found them for in US dollars). If the system was only $300, I would have purchased one to play with. Are you sure you went from BP to USD, and not the other way around?

The price ranges from $800 to around $830 from all the research I've done.

Highlights:
Digital pattern creation using over 2 million colours
Remote control of all functions
10 Different Pattern "templates" plus strobe
Colour palettes for all patterns and strobe
Sound reactive via internal mic or stereo line in
Door switch programme
2 four foot tubes + 2 three foot tubes
Expandable with extra tubes
Networks with other ICELED light sources
Simple three-wire interface
Electronic protection
Rugged and reliable

Still wondering if I should have one installed. Pretty impressive but also pretty expensive. I'll have to sit on this one for awhile...

Although I am extremely anti this kind of sh!t, that has got to be one of the coolest light modifications I have ever seen. When my car is 100% done.....I will def get this (for shows only of course)

I think John's car deserves this....
