Default IDA-X305 install

I installed my IDA-X305 with Modifry's DCI and PnP today, and I just have one quick question so I have peace of mind that I did the install correctly.

For those who have a similar setup, is it correct that one of the plugs that went into the stock HU is not used? I have one plug that had no input on the Alpine or Modifry units, so I just left it unplugged. Assuming that is the right thing to do, do I need to pull a fuse or anything to prevent the unplugged one causing any damage or is it fine to just leave it? I'm a total noob at this stuff so any help is appreciated

1. You'd know if you had installed it incorrectly.

2. The extra plug is for the CD changer wiring (pointless without the stock HU).
