Why does Best Buy and Crutchfield claim that this receiver does not fit in our cars? Is that a mistake?

not sure,..im sure it will though cuz people have the 303 and it fits,...only thing i think is the knob might be too big to let the door close but i dont even see that happening

 

did the dimensions change? it says it won't fit my '99 civic either (as well as my CR)

We just got them in, it's single din so it will fit anything, but not sure about the radio door clearance. The knob sticks out a lot.

 

This is an easy fix, just mod the iso bracket and recess the unit a bit and boom like a glove. That what I did w/ my unit (JVC) and the door still closes when the screen is tilted and the medium tilt setting.

 

I was in the states and just picked up the new Pioneer P8200BT. Any feedback on it ?? It looks sweet and fell in love with it as soon as I saw it... It's not out in Canada yet.

X305S is listed at bestbuy.com for $349 so expected $399 + tax in Canada.

 

OH BTW Best Buy U.S. had a deal running where you buy a deck and a pair of speakers and you get a free install.... I told the guy I can't get it installed as the car is in Canada and he knocked off another $100 off the deck..and I ended up picking up a pair of Pioneer 6.5's. So for $370 I got the deck and a pair of speakers..taxes and all in.

In Canada this thing will cost me $399+tax = $450 for just the deck!!
